Our Mission

Building

The Children’s Center of the Cumberlands is located in Scott County, TN at 22510 Alberta Street, Oneida, TN 37841. Our Center offers a child-friendly environment for children and non-offending family members to feel welcomed and safe. If children arrive at the Center hungry, we have a kitchen for preparing food, and we always have juice boxes and healthy snacks available. We also have ‘child-friendly rooms’ available for forensic interviews, emergency medical exams and counseling. In addition, every child is given a hand-made quilt that has been donated by various caring ladies and church groups in our community. This gives each child a sense of security and something to call their own.

Regular operating hours at our Center are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Fridays. However, whenever an emergency victim is in need, the Center is opened to assist the child.

Children’s Center of the Cumberlands, is an Accredited Member of the National Children’s Alliance. This was awarded to the Center in May 2005.
